As an educator, I strive to channel my passion for the Arts into content that excites students about the expressive nature of art making. I believe that all students, regardless of cultural, linguistic or social barriers, are capable of thoughtful interaction with the visual arts through teaching that is patient, inclusive, and responsive. I will strive to provide lessons that connect my students’ funds of knowledge with the content of the arts classroom. My goal is for students of all skill levels to leave my classroom with the tools to continue to engage with the Arts throughout their lives.
